In the Fall of 2025, I had the opportunity to write the cymbal music for a movement of the Marching Illini’s Metallica halftime show. Specifically, the other drumline section leaders and myself wrote the drumline parts for “Enter Sandman” and “Master of Puppets”, which start at 2:45 in the video above. It was a great experience getting to write the music that I played, and you can see the sheet music here.
