This page consists of various other graphic design work that I have completed that doesn’t quite fit into a specific category.
During Summer 2025 I had the chance to intern at Aurora Flight Sciences, a company that rapidly prototypes novel aircraft. One of the intern events includes working together to design a t-shirt for the year’s intern class. Because we had a good bit of time to throw together ideas, I started talking with my friends and came up with a rough idea for a design. The new superman movie had just come out, so we decided to do a play on words of the iconic phrase “it’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s Superman” by changing it to “it’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a fuel-cell powered small uncrewed aircraft system”. This was the exact description on our company’s website of a new sUAS platform they were marketing. With this phrase in mind, I got to work sketching the aircraft, and we decided to place it inside diamond shaped emblem referencing the superman logo. After my design was voted as the winner by my fellow interns, I passed it off to another intern who also wanted to work on it. She did some small touch-ups and added color.
In my sophomore year flight mechanics course, we were tasked with creating a full mission concept based on a randomly assigned idea. My mission design involved sending a dirigible to Venus to investigate the presence of phosphine in its atmosphere. This was heavy inspired by the NASA mission concept HAVOC. Part of this process was creating a mission patch. I don’t think my work here is anything amazing, but it was fun, and I feel like a great design could have been made if I had fleshed this design out even more.
